“So many people think you’re awesome, special, and worthwhile!! Why would you listen to the one person who thinks you’re not?”
Do you ever question how much you value yourself? Do you ever lay awake at night thinking about what others might think of you? Did you ever try to change who you were because you thought if you did than you might like yourself better? If you answered yes to most of those questions then you are most likely part of a good 90% of us!! Very few of us can wake up every morning and go to bed every evening feeling absolutely positive about the person we are! In order to improve ourselves we need to believe in ourselves! And it’s not as simple as just saying, “Okay I love myself.” It’s a life long effort that you must make as a human being. I want to give you a few things to think about and perhaps that you will do!
1.) Part of accepting and loving yourself is accepting and loving others. You have to be able to accept who you are before you can accept others! There is no one better to be than beautiful and awesome you! 🙂 Soooo…. Be yourself and no one else!
2.) Be someone you are proud of! Make the right decisions, smile because it brightens your life and others’ lives, dress in color, eat healthy, drink water, DO things that make you feel FANTASTIC!!!! 🙂
3.) As you wake up every morning tell yourself, “It’s going to be a beautiful day because I choose happiness.” Go to bed each night and compliment yourself on all the good deeds you did! We underestimate just how much we do in a 12 hour day! We go to work/school, we dress ourselves, we take of our children, we do paperwork/homework, etc,etc. (That list goes on for miles!) If you learn to be your own best friend you will find that you won’t need others approval to feel amazing because you will already know it!
4.) Pamper yourself! Everyone, no matter who you are, needs to feel taken care of!! Whether it’s budgeting for that cute shirt you saw at the store or buying yourself a drink from Starbucks, it’s super important that you feel loved! Life is hard enough! Why not make it easier?
5.) Talk to people! Have a conversation with anyone you feel comfortable talking to! Make it a goal to have many feel- good conversations EVERY DAY! Talking is so healthy and it’s fun when done with true friends and/or family!
