“When you learn to listen with your soul, your life becomes larger.” ~Michele Harvey
It can take a whole human beings life time to truly understand what listening to the soul truly means. It’s a true journey of one day to the next, listening for that inner self that tells you whether something feels right or wrong, the voice that tells you to make the right decision even if your mind wants to do the opposite, this what learning to live feels like! 🙂
While looking for clarity, one might ask what is clarity? Sometimes in life, there are words that don’t even quite make sense yet we here them used while trying to describe something, someone, or perhaps a feeling. Clarity is that feeling or sense that comes over you, when you something in your life comes into focus! That’s my definition of it anyways! 🙂 It is important that we seek out clarity for those un-answered questions in life that seem to occupy our minds most often!
The metaphor I like to use and what many others use to describe the word “clarity” is water! When you go to a lake or a pond, you’ll notice how if the water is un-settle or sloshed around too much, the water becomes muddy and un-clear so that you can’t see the bottom very easily. However, if you let the mud and sand settle to the bottom of the lake, the water then becomes clear and settled again! 🙂 Sounds like life, doesn’t it? At times, it is un-clear to know exactly where the sign are pointing in life, but then something else happens that causes your confusion to disappear and be replaced with that sense of Clarity! 🙂
Today, ask yourself, “What part of my life needs more clarity? Do I have un-answered or un-settling questions within me? What do I need to do to become settled and clear again?” May you find clarity, and with it, may you also seek out the peace and serenity of a clear mind! ❤
“Mindfulness is about love and loving life. When you cultivate this love, it gives you clarity and compassion for life, and your actions happen in accordance with that.” ~Jon Kabat-Zinn
